ROMEO AND JULIET

Shakespeare’s life, author of the history:
William Shakespeare was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, and he died in 1616. His father, John Shakespeare, made and sold gloves, and was an important person in Stratford. His mother, Mary Arden, came from quite a rich family. John and Mary had eight children. Shakespeare went to Grammar School in Stratford, and after went to London; became an actor.
In 1582, he married with Anne Hathaway. He was 18 years old and she was 26. They soon had a daughter, Susanna, and in 1585 they had twins, Hamnet and Judith. Hamnet, however, died when he was only 11 years old.
Most famous works with Shakespeare are Romeo and Juliet, a Midsummer’s Night’s Dream and The Merchant of Venice.
One interesting thing about when he lived is he died the same day that he born.

Summary of history:
Well, now I'll do a short summary of the novel we read last quarter: Romeo and Juliet.
The history explains of the forbidden love between two teenagers, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, members of two rival families in Verona, Italy. One day when the Capulets made a party the Capulets, Romeo attends it. Romeo goes disguised. At the party he meets Juliet, which falls madly in love, it was love at first sight. So they decided to meet secretly, knowing that her parents would never allow it. They marry in secret, with the help of Friar Lawrence. On the day of the ceremony, Tybalt, Juliet's cousin, challenges him to a duel, and he says no, but his friend Mercutio goes in his place and is killed. Hearing Romeo retaliates and kills Tybalt, so the Prince of Verona condemns him to exile. Romeo flees to Mantua after their last reunion with Juliet. Meanwhile, the Capulets, Juliet's parents, who were unaware of the secret marriage, intend to marry his daughter to the Count of Paris. Friar Laurence, as a council, accepts this marriage, but gives you a potion, which should be taken at night before the wedding. This potion left as dead for 42 hours, time period in which the friar tell Romeo responsible for the false death of his wife, so that in time will wake up, come to find her and take her with him Mantua. But the message does not arrive in destination, and Romeo learned that his beloved had "died". So he decided to buy a deadly poison, go to the Capulet crypt and drink it next to his wife. There he meets Paris, then takes the poison and dies. Waking Juliet and see the two bodies, decides to commit suicide with Romeo's dagger. These terrible events, however, manage to reconcile the two families.

My opinion about the story:
In my opinion, this story is very nice, sad and true.  Furthermore, it is a story I wanted to read, but so far had not done so. It was an easy book to read, I have not had any difficulty. And if you had any doubt about vocabulary, but it was explained in every page.
